How and why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss working together, on the basis of our legitimate interests and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To send Opsvisory Insights, on the basis of your consent (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To understand and improve the site using aggregate analytics, on the basis of our legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Web3Forms, to deliver contact-form submissions to us by email.
- Substack, to run our newsletter.
- Vercel, to host the site and provide cookieless analytics.
- We expect to use a customer relationship management (CRM) provider to manage enquiries; this policy will be updated to name it once selected.
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Some of our providers are based outside the UK (including the United States). Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
